ARTIST STATEMENT
We are in the blue depicts the Blue Mountains with Aboriginal culuture woven through them. In the lower part of the image, the symbols show travelling through the mountains, which my Ancestors have done for thousands of years. It foreshadows that behind each ridge line there are more stories and culture; even if we can't always see it, it is there.
